No desperation at all. We've got miliband front and centre just where we want him.

Re: David Cameron

Very sad story but it will not stop Cameron and his cronies portraying anyone in need as money grubbing scum.
However, an antidote to the party political from earlier this evening.

Utter desperation tactics with this, and the frankly laughable outburst from Michael Fallon, earlier today.

Says infinitely more about them than anything else, but as usual they're to blindly stubborn to see it.

Tick, tock, tick, tock...

Signs of desperation from the Tories now, I think Dave can see that the end is nigh.

Watching this from afar as i've now been abroad too long to vote - he just seems a bit ineffectual on a national and especially the international stage.

True, though he wasn't virtually criminalising poverty, was he? Or sickness? Or simply not being rich enough?
Or was I mistaken?

Fucking hell. The fact that Camerbot uses the tragedy of his son for political gain even after that BBC leak sums up the vile cunt.

On the zero hours contracts issue, a third are students, a third are flexible workers. Unless Miliband has personally spoken to the other third I'm not sure there's an epidemic of them.

sports direct that evil business do a profit sharing scheme for employees by the way.

Now I'm not defending employers who take the piss which is why I'm glad the exclusivity clause has gone.

What I do mind is Labour who did fuck all for 13 years and who employ people on zero hours making it sound like we've sent children up chimneys and opened workhouses.

I do like this. " the Tories wouldn't have done anything different " line.

I distinctly remember the 2005 election warning of $30 billion of tory cuts.

Re: David Cameron
Same goes for business start ups, a large % of them are due to there being a lack of jobs and people resorting to having to have a go at working for themselves because they've given up gaining employment.

Re: David Cameron
Willtell, really, I think you'll find the true number is just under a million. And if it will change soon then surely the government should be supporting doing away with them. Either way , it's hardly a red herring and something used to scare the workforce when it is reality and going on right now.

Re: David Cameron
chelmsfordhammer 12:49
Actually there are 700,000 on them but the point is that they are only workable while there are so many people desperate for any job. That will surely change soon which was what I meant.

I agree though that it is easily sorted by making them illegal after 6 months continuous employment to stop employers taking advantage of schemes to encourage employment. The thing is that it is a competitive world and I'm sure many immigrants will be happy to take zero hours contracts to get started...

I want to know why Camberbot the 'man' is apparently rated highly in the polls. No one I personally know who votes Tory can stand the fraud and can't wait for him to be kicked out.

Re: David Cameron
willtell, you clearly do live in France if you think that zero hour contracts are a redherring. There are currently just under a million people on them in the uk so I'm not sure how its something to put fear in worker minds. There are large companies in britain that have all of their staff on them (sports direct for example). So far from being a red herring and something to put fear in peoples minds, they are a reality and something that a large proportion of british workers already have to endure.
